As a maker, how do you take care of your health ?

I find it very difficult to care for my health for a couple of months due to my hectic schedule of work and commute between the office and my place.

I was very active in running last year but now I try to do the same but somehow couln't continue. As we know it's very important for us to take care of our body and mind to deliver great work. So how's everyone here taking care of it?

It's a struggle because you want to keep working, but you have to prioritize your health because as you get older you won't bounce back so easily.

I've got some problems with my eyes recently. Booked an appointment to get checked. (can't stare at the screens for long, or will feel pain)

being active has been something that has allowed me to be more alert and focused. Therefore, my routine has physical activity built-in in order to feel well.

There are still some days that are harder than others. I have tried to take an approach that is more sustainable. I am not putting in the insane long hours I once did.

Make time for exercise: 2 times a week get your pulse up to 120 for at least 30 consecutive minutes Brush your teeth and gums Get some sun/natural light in the morning Talk to a tree Eat healthy Repeat

Commit for at least a hour/day off screens and do some outdoor activities (walking, biking, meet friends, etc.)

I know you do running, keep it up! Drink water more and also have good rest, good food and good lifestyle

@jackdavid, I joined the gym for the same reason this year and reduced screen time an hour before going to sleep.
